The development team is constantly working to make the platform better and I’m excited to announce several new features in our latest release, designed to improve the user experience, streamline compliance processes and enhance functionality.
Let’s take a closer look at what’s new in OpenAFSL.
What’s New
System-generated Compliance Committee Meeting Agenda & Minutes
The Compliance Committee plays a crucial role in overseeing the organisation’s compliance efforts. To streamline this process, OpenAFSL now generates compliance committee meeting agendas and minutes.
This feature eliminates the need for manual creation and distribution of meeting agendas and minutes, saving time and improving accuracy.
With the system-generated compliance committee meeting agenda and minutes, the Licensee can access the information they need in a timely and organised manner.
Obligation Register – Attestation Reporting
To maintain compliance, Licensees need to demonstrate that they are meeting their regulatory obligations. OpenAFSL now offers an Obligation Attestation Reporting feature, which provides an overview of all obligation attestations in the system, including their status and responses.
This allows Licensee to stay on top of the organisation’s compliance status, identify potential gaps and respond proactively.
Breach Module – Dates from Reviews
In the past, the date when a breach was raised did not always match the date when the review was finalised. This created confusion and made it difficult to track and manage breaches effectively.
To address this issue, we have updated OpenAFSL so that the breach ‘raised date’ now updates to match the date when the review is finalised.
This change ensures that Licensee have accurate and up-to-date information on breaches, which is crucial for effective remediation.
Remediation – Bulk Edit Mode
Managing remediation items can be a time-consuming process, especially when dealing with a large number of items. To make it easier, we have introduced Remediation Bulk Edit Mode.
This feature enables users to make changes to multiple remediation items at once, saving time and improving efficiency.
Furthermore, to make remediation more manageable, we have enabled filtering by due date on the remediation grid. This feature allows users to filter remediation items by their due date, making it easier to prioritise and manage tasks.
Office 365 Authentication
To make it easier for clients to manage their email sending, we have introduced Office 365 Authentication.
This feature allows clients to connect their Office 365 accounts to OpenAFSL, making it easy to send emails without the need for additional authentication steps.
Filtering Added to Complaints Module
To improve the user experience, we have added filtering to the Complaints Module.
This feature enables users to filter complaints by various criteria, including date, status and severity. This makes it easier to manage complaints and prioritise tasks.
Email Ability Added to Issues, Breaches and Remediation Module
To improve communication and collaboration, we have added email ability to Issues, Breaches and Remediation modules. This feature allows users to send emails directly from these modules (incoming email functionality is coming in the near future so watch this space for our next system update), making it easy to keep stakeholders informed and up-to-date.
