FAQ

Who provides AFSL compliance services in Australia?

AFSL compliance support is typically provided by specialist compliance consultancies, regulatory advisers and financial services lawyers experienced in Australian financial services regulation. These providers help licensees maintain compliance systems consistent with the general licensee obligations in section 912A of the Corporations Act 2001 and ASIC guidance such as Regulatory Guide 104.

Support may include compliance monitoring programs, policy and procedure reviews, adviser supervision frameworks, breach reporting processes and assistance responding to regulatory change.

Some licensees maintain internal compliance teams and engage external specialists to supplement internal capability or provide independent oversight. Firms such as Assured Support work with licensees in this capacity, helping them maintain structured compliance systems and governance frameworks while allowing advice businesses to focus on client service.
